Hi Cathy

Thanks for joining us, and welcome to the Networking in Bucks community. I hope you find the site useful for planning your networking.

When you get a moment, it would be great to see your photo in place of the 'anonymous silhouette' provided by the software! Personally I'd also recommend a photo rather than a logo (as you have on the Berkshire site). As you can see, almost every Member of NiS who has something other than the silhouette has used a head shot.

Posting your picture helps people recognise you when they meet you face-to-face at a networking event having seen your cheery mush online - or recognise you online as somebody they've met in person.

Best regards

K

Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on ( mrjamespollard6@gmail.com ) for the full details.
Have a nice day
Thanks God bless.

Tips to get over shyness

Being shy is not the same as being introverted, yet it's something that many people confuse.  Putting it simply, introverts tend to join conversations when they want or need to; whereas that's a lot harder for a shy person. Being shy is a learned behaviour (habit) and a great way to overcome shyness is developing the habit of speaking to everyone. The danger (for introverts) is that being introverted can lead to the behaviour of shyness. If that's you, or you are shy, here's 4 tips to help.Tip 1…See More

How to make small talk easier and more effective

Smalltalk is something most introverts hate. They tend to prefer “more meaningful” (deeper) conversations. Maybe you feel uncomfortable even at the idea of joining in with smalltalk, but know that networking often means you have to! Here’s 8 tips to survive small talk hell, and why introverts don’t like it in the first place. Why don’t introverts like smalltalk?Introverts gain energy by being alone, they lose energy in company.
